Attractions in Venice

Travelling to Venice is something that everyone must do at least once in a life. The city is worthy to be seen and if you have several days off, a bit desire to see something interesting, and money for airfare and booking a room in one of the hotels in Venice, you are ready to travel to Venice as well. Actually Venice doesn't have ugly dormitory areas and if you are a person that considers any piece of Venice mysterious place as beautiful, then you won't have any regrets to have a vacation there and enjoy the atmosphere of the 18th century.

Venice is famous with its small churches, souvenir shops that cover almost every corner and the ancient style of the buildings and houses, but for sure the most interesting thing about Venice is the great number of gondolas that are used for public transport and tourists tours around the city.

One of the interesting things in Venice is Doge's Palace, called Palazzo Ducale in Italian. This place is famous with the grand Sala del Maggior Consiglio is put- the biggest room in the world with no bearing under the ceiling. And that is the most mysterious and in the same time interesting thing.
Here we should mention and the Bridge of Sighs, that actually connects Doge's Palace with the nearby prison. For those that are sent to the prison, is the only chance to look at the world for the last time when they were crossing this bridge.
