Noche De San Juan

St. John's Night, also known as Noche de San Juan is one of the most popular and significant festivals in Puerto Rico. It happens at night every 23rd of June. So if you are planning for vacation in June you should consider visiting San Juan.

The commemoration of the nativity Saint John the Baptist starts with getting together of folks on the local beaches. They enjoy the magnificent local music, dancing and of course delight the wonderful taste of the Caribbean food. When the night has already come, people assembled by the beach go to the crystal waters and then tumble thrice  backwards to take a plunge. They do this to have 'good fortune' during all the year. Every year more and more enthusiasts come to attend this great Caribbean tradition. So make sure that you have booked yourself in San Juan Hilton month ago. Thus you will avoid any accommodation problems.

San Juan is the place where the biggest assemblies take place. But festivities happen almost all beaches all over the islands. If you want to find a good parking place and of course a great place by the shore make sure that you will go much earlier. You can take part in this annual festivity not only on the beach of San Juan but also you can go to the beaches on Condado, Carolina, Verde, Ocean Park and Escambron.

If you are wondering where exactly to stay, check Hilton San Juan for any special holiday packages. You can be sure that your vacation in San Juan in June will be memorable.
