Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a long and colourful history, dating back to 1896. Founded by Alderman William George Bean, it was originally one of two sister parks – the other being Hotchkiss's Patented Railroad, a short-lived amusement park in Great Yarmouth.

Having to travel for business reasons can be a drag, as I am sure that many of you are aware. There are certain places that you need to be at certain times, and it seems as though the city that you are visiting ceases to exist. You rarely have the opportunity to break away from it all, and partake in the activities that you want to.
